    Biggest difference is that now it's possible to see fastest/shortest/quietest/balances options after a route is planned - as is already possible on the desktop and mobile versions. Though the options are not all displayed together.

    In addition - Apple is going to introduce its own Maps app with the new iOS 6 - probable next Wednesday.

    This will include 'turn by turn' directions.

    Apple's aim is to replace Google Maps.

    I noticed that the latest Maps update on Android included turn by turn for Bicycle routes.
