Taking part in Pedal for Scotland on Sunday for the first time. I'm doing the shorter 'Challenge Ride'.
Should I leave the road tyres on or put the mountain bike tyres on?
I can't afford a new set so those are my options!

Road tyres will be fine.
What mr bodna says. Definitely. The MTB tyres will annoy you with how slow they make everything feel.
Whatever you do, don't get a set of those non-round tyres that lost Bauge the Olympics men's sprint.
