Pâtisserie Cyclisme began in February 2011 as one of those ideas you have on a rainy day whilst sat in your favourite cycling cafe. It seemed a shame that there wasn’t a definitive site capturing one of the most important aspects of cycling life and culture,so I went about rectifying this. Starting out small the site gradually gained momentum in the months that followed and has increased with over 150 reviews over the last twelve months ,not only from the UK but from Europe and beyond.

This isn't new but don't think it's been mentioned on CCE.

The tide coffee shop and art gallery on Porty prom at foot of Kings Rd is well worth a visit.

Riccarton Garden Centre has a great cafe, looks a bit basic but tasty and surprisingly varied menu and staff always friendly.
