    There was a guy on the Cycle Show a couple of weeks ago that lost about 20 stone through cycling.

    Min, I saw that too - he almost had to unfold himself he was so tall - like The Teacher from The Wall !!

    There's a story from the Ras this year where a truck driver who was touching 20st got into cycling and ended up doing the Ras (irish tour, the like of sean kelly and stephen roche won it i think back in the day). here's a link, but the big pic on it is a bit bloody/gory as he didn't get off to the best of starts:
