Is there anywhere secure to lock my bike to this evening? I'm going to be passing and have not visited yet so will call in.

There's a couple of bike stands to the left of the shop (if you are facing it).

I would just take mine in, it's a pretty big shop and if it is quiet I am sure they would not object

It'll be fine just propped against the window in full view for the few minutes when you go in, try and get some sort of service and then walk out in disgust as the teenagers behind the counter are more interested in talking amongst themselves than acknowledging potential customers... Ahem.

There are also racks just inside the door.

And failing the internal racks, there are racks on Ponton Street outside the medical centre car park, not quite on the junction, but very close to it.

Obligatory plug for Cyclestreets ("cycle journey planner" link on the CCE menu at the top, for those new to here) - if you zoom in the little blue squares mark cycle racks.

    There's a cable-able sign right outside the door ...

    I used the lampost outside.
@Kaputnik, don't do it man!! Many years ago I nipped into the shop on Slateford Rpad and leant my then racer against the window in full view, I looked away long enough to pay for a packet of ball bearings and when I looked back there it wasn't :-(
Never saw it again, but learned, take it inside or lock it, never leave it unlocked and unattended, not even for second :-(
