    I love to imagine in a century's time what our descendants will make of the current moral panic about evil cyclists...

    "practices judged to be troublesome or immoral by the city’s stringent leaders"

    "we often find that the issues of the day may well not be issues of the past"

    "We would probably encourage people to ride bikes actually."

    OK - maybe that last one is a bit of a stretch!

    I noticed this sign beside Playfair Steps leading into East Princes Street gardens.

    Nothing on Skateboarding though. Maybe didn't have a graphic for that. Know the feeling!

    You could categorise dogs, bikes and litter as 'nuisances'.(!)
