It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

OSM is the map created by 'anyone' and used by CycleStreets (and many others).

Interesting to go along, I've registered (likely Saturday). I've used OSM-based maps several times when travelling (for work, often abroad). I can get versions to put on my (Garmin) GPS, or loaded onto Mapsource, for example. Handy when only in locations for a few days, can't be sure of getting online maps, and don't want to shell out for paper maps I may never use again.
