It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Don't think there has been any mention here of Apple's dubious decision to remove the Google Maps app from its latest iPhone/iPad system upgrade.
Google has now made StreetView available online for mobile devices.

It's a shame they haven't used the Android (and, I think, desktop browser) system whereby you can drag the wee Streetview man to the location (within Streetview) that you want to go to next. Much faster than clicking those arrows.
Still don't think I'll upgrade the iPad yet, doesn't seem to be that worthwhile for a 2nd generation one (and it's also not really mine to upgrade...)
