Next to that piece, and what kicked off their cities for safer cycling campaign - this should be read by every vehicle driver who has ever ranted at cyclists.

I've just taken a look at the "executive summary" from the RAC foundation. It mentions car use and rail use as if one goes up when the other goes down. This is often the case but needn't be: the Netherlands has comparatively low levels of both car use and public transport use. Guess why.
