That is quite funny. The flavour flap, alas like all the other products, out of stock, is droll. What time must you have on your hands to create a spoof Rapha website?
I would buy Rapha in their sale, but stuff is out of stock, as per the spoof. Also if you have a pal approaching a significant birthday but he has more kit than he needs, lives in london and can go into their lifestyle shop/ cafe without feeling nausea and you can find other mates to club together and buy a voucher, you are sorted. my work colleague was all set to do this for his brother until he saw the prices. He bought him bolt cutters instead

Women - just make it pink. It'll be fine.
That's a most amusing site.
Rapha seem rather like Apple to me. You don't really need anything they actually make, but they make it look nice and distinctive and desirable, and they market it so well that a lot of people just can't resist, and part with considerable sums of money to buy into it.

I have the Rapha t shirt - birthday present you know.
Really got it for design - no longer available.

That's not to say that Rapha (or Apple) products aren't excellent - it's not all smoke and mirrors. But what I meant was "other cycling apparels are available". And both more and less expensive.

Classic. Saw it here:

The stuff does look very nice but
You'd probably think a cycling brand that sells yak leather road shoes for £300 and a designer espresso tamper for £95 is beyond parody.
No it isn't.
The advert looks hilarious. I can't hear it but I am imagining a morose French film noir voiceover with Moonlight Sonata playing over it. I expect the real thing is even funnier than that though.

From above -
"
It's probably fair to say Bradley Wiggins might struggle to get his head round finding a literary quotation instead of washing instructions sewn inside his rain jacket."
Fair?!!
So that's like 'cyclist are just like footballers are/were supposed to be' - thick/uneducated...

Plenty of examples to disprove that stereotype in both sports. Alas, quite a few who reinforce it too...
My favourite comedic representation of racing cyclists is in 'Belleville Rendezvous' where they're seen as akin to thoroughbred racehorses.
