PS and I went to spectate last year. Was a grand day out and a nice leg stretch of a ride there and back. It was a cold day, but Artisan Roast were there with their VW coffee mobile to providing warming refreshments. It had a great sprint finish on a narrow section of pavé, with a right-angled turn about 50m from the line.

I've promised I'll be riding this. Should shake out the Christmas cobwebs.
Oh, and should be riding the Cross at the Beach in Irvine a week on Sunday if anyone fancies a jolly over...

I'll be over in Irvine, got a lift already. Prepping bike after the cross season has
a) gone through a chain and cassette in 6 races
b) destroyed 2 sets of brake pads
c) buggered my rear wheel hub bearings
d) got me really muddy several times

What time do you need to leave? I'd be up for a photie jolly but need to work out child related logistics. Sundays are a 'mare at the moment...

All 100 entries sold out in about 2 hours. Remarkable. Looking at possibly opening up some more spaces and splitting into an A and B race.
I've given my nod to be in the B race - means I can get the camera out for the good guys (like ARobComp).

just watched the vid, looks a blast ! I reckon i will try and get along for a look see (only one ankle just now !)best use of Boness harbour for a long time !
