It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

resolvedIt's such a nice day, lovely light, trying to ponder where to wander at lunchtime with the camera that will be different from my norm. Am at Morrison Street, so a 30 minute radius (on foot) works. Suffering from a lack of imagination, which usually sees me along the canal or down to Princes Street Gardens (and associated cemeteries for the squirrels).
And LothianBirdNews is being no help at all with no Waxwings sighted near here recently.

I know that feeling. Went round the St. Cuthburts* cemetery yesterday to finish off some slide film. Got earrands to run today but I think I'm going to try some wet looking commuters tomorrow lunch time...

@SRD, I never knew that! I think that's made the decision, and I can grab a pancake from [name of Brazilian pancake place in an old plice box that I've forgotten] to eat on the way back. Sorted.
@Coxy - option 3 tempting. WoL is just do-able, but I think the path is still closed between Dean Village and the bridge down from the galleries?
@steveo - got one of the film cameras with me, so looking to take advantage of the light.
@wingpig - wandered up Dewar Place Lane a few times - have to say, less inspiring than some other lanes I've wandered up...
