Might as well think about a date.

    Statutory reminder -

    For newcomers (ALL welcome) -

"Normally from 7.30 to 8.30 for most folk."

Some people hang on past nine.

  2. Friday 14th (I suspect the 21st would be a little close to Chrimble). That way I can delay the jersey order slightly and actually remember the one I have for people to try.

I presume we'll do the big 'random bike stuff from the garage wrapped up and lucky dip' type thang again? ;)

Must get along sometime, even if I don't commute these days (but helps to put names to faces etc).

Lucky dip? Sounds fun. 21st would also be my birthday ;-)

@chdot will you have that saddle attached with something better than gaffer tape next time?

I've got a couple of good things for the mix and match swap secret santa meet things this year.

Can't do the 21st but could do the 14th.

I am off the bike at the mo with a wheezy chest but I can see how I feel in the morning. Definitely getting better,

I don't think I will make it. I've had some virus which has flattened me. I've been going to work on the bus/minibus and don't see myself getting the bike out. I just have no energy and a horrible cough :-(

This chest virus is fair doing the rounds. I'm just back on the bike after over a week of feeling like death warmed up.
Unfortunately I start work at 8 but next time PY coincides with some annual leave I will try to come along.

I can do tomorrow. We can compare spiky tyres now that there seems to be a variety of styles doing the rounds.

Plenty of rain heading from the SE expected for tomorrow afternoon. May have to fit my new mudguards to the extramonstrousbike tonight, or hope that it's not too slippy on the main roads and take my usual bike.

I can try to put in an appearance but won't be in the early group. I can bring a secret Santa pressie too.

A bit under the weather this week so will have to decide in the morning, secret santa rather depends on making it into the garage tonight!
Hope everyone has a safe and pleasant commute either way :-)

Nice to see everyone... ! Two shifts today too. The QBC deputation arrived around 9. Shame Mr Burns couldn't join us but at least he cycled the route!

Laid Back Christmas Card by LaidBackBikes, on Flickr

Card copies are available at the shop.... drop in and ask if you want one or ten two.

Also latest Velo Vision for sale with cracking wrap round cover that doesn't feature me. The ideal stocking filler mag for those that are jaded with Cycling Plus! LB price is £5 - you save £1. Every bit helps!

Also the excellent cards from Kaputnik - packs or individual for sale. Some from last year too - limited edition!

Nice to catch up with the post-0900 contingent with SRD, Roibeard, Morningsider, Laid Back and chdot.

Those vanilla and custard pastries are dead good.
