I've just ordered a pair of Ortleib Back Roller Plus, and as well as the discount (clearance sale) he is still offering 'our' discount on top! When I enquired, as the website says out of stock, Mark said he would still honour us with the discount, so I have honoured him with my custom! I got a rack for my Cotic too. :D

Just bought two bright red 25 litre panniers (they looked bigger in pictures and I think are bigger) from South Queensferry based firm Brae. They are called Yonder and also come in black if anyone is interested. And can be bought singly for slightly higher cost.

More cordura type fabric on outside. More rubbery on inside. Good inner sleeve for lap top and valuables zipper pocket, good waterproof zip but mesh fabric. Roll top closure to the side works well.

Down to £95 the pair on their website but then was offered a further 15 % off, so cost me £80. Bargain.

Fixtures are similar to Ortlieb, maybe a tiny bit flimsier but way cheaper. And local company.

I have learnt from this very oracle to put padding such as bubble wrap or old galoshes down at the bottom to protect from holes. They don’t have any plastic ridge on bottom. Ortlieb do have this but only on inside edge.

Needed a fairly large bag fairly urgently so got a decathlon 27L Waterproof Bike Bag 900 (Grey) for £45. Its the nasty Ortlieb style plastic type but significantly cheaper than my usual caradice bling.
