I've tried to resist but my lunches and mid afternoon snacks are certainly bigger than during the summer and I'm doing far less mileage. My triathlete colleague mentioned this and I agreed with her but what do the panel think.

Does the winter make you more hungry?

You need extra energy to keep warm.
    I think.

Cold air is denser so it's harder to push though. Cars use more gas in the winter.

Can't comment, I'm just hungry all the time.

Is it not natural for the body to want to build a fat reserve in the colder weather?

Dunno, but having had my lunch I could really go a bar of chocolate!

Must be a recessive hibernation gene in there. I'm permanently tired and hungry.

I've gone somewhat the other way. Struggling to eat as much as I'd usually eat. Specifically struggling with breakfast and dinner. :/

I'm training more at the moment too so eating enough to not just collapse is getting a bit frustrating.

I recommend the M&S Cocoa-coated caramelised and salted Macadamia nuts. Expensive but divine.
