New bike shop and cafe in East Lothian

    Okay they are separate entities but there's a new bike shop opening behind the Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh next week. I spoke to the owner who used to work in BG Bikes and Blades in Portobello. He's having the floors sanded though he wouldn't be drawn on whether he was going full Ronde. It's good to have a bike shop in the town again as it must be five years since McDonalds closed their branch here.

    The new cafe is in Ormiston which is on the Pencaitland Railway Path. It's called the Sundial and is on the Main Street maybe 500 metres or so from the cycle-path.

    Good news re cafe, have often passed through Ormiston with a severe caffeine & cake craving - hope it opens on a Sunday.
