Anyone get any cool bike Prezzies?

I got a 'maillot brittanique' tshirt and the guardian's tour de France book.

    Red ortleibs.

And a recycled bottle opener - made from old bike parts.

I always get combined Christmas/Birthday prezzies, an excellent haul of bike stuff this year:

    Tubus rear rack
    Red ortilebs
Leyzene track pump (it has a wooden handle!)

Morningsider Jr got a Specialized Hotrock (from one of SRD's nearly new sales).

Hope everyone is having a great Christmas day.

Buff, bike light for the Brompton and self-sticking puncture patches. Also a Christmas jumper, but you can't have everything. And between them my Mum & other half have agreed to winterise my bike with studded tyres so I'll have to check out that thread for tips

Myself and the Smudgling got a co-pilot limo, and he got a h***et to wear whilst on it, and a *load* of warm clothes :-)

Not here yet but I have a couple of Kapz stem caps coming with his name and dob on them (big softy that I am)

Tomorrows tasks will be: swapping the good rear rack on the Surly for the cr***y supplied one, removing the reflector from the co-pilot and replacing it with a light, figuring out where else on the Surly to put a back light and swapping the sprung Brooks for an unsprung one from another bike.
Should be a busy wee bit of tinkering, hope he enjoys the end result!

1l of Muc-Off, out of which I ran a couple of weeks back. Also technically a bike thing is a key-wallet, to stop my keys wearing through the pockets of my cycling baggies. I'll probably get myself another couple of chains and a cassette from the EBC sale like last year.

"...figuring out where else on the Surly to put a back light..."

    Get some plastic tubing.

    A bottle of oil.

I did also get some non cycling things too that were more exciting. ;-)

Mr MeepMeep pleasantly surprised me with a hump and a bike maintenance pack. Whilst not wholly romantic by his standards (he set his standards very high, I hasten to add), it's a functional present and I'm very happy, particularly since we no longer commute together.

Only got presents from uncle and husband so far due to an unscheduled hospital trip for my twin mid December.

My awesome husband bought me an M210 monkey light :D I'm really looking forward to trying it out :D

Apart from Wiggo's book, nowt bike-related. Retirement presents, although she doesn't know it and it's 10 years away.

MeepMeep - your last post is surely a candidate for typo of the year!

Bought myself a new front wheel with a Schwalbe winter tyre on it 700 x 30mm. Yesterday would have been great day to be out running it in if it wasn't for those pesky kids. Must mention the meep meep presents to mrs gembo

Oakleys, 2 x buffs, cadence monitor for Garmin and a new front light.

The last item on the list is wonderful. I didn't realise how pointless my old front light was before. The new one was only £30 - makes me wonder what ones in three figures are like.

Cheers Winpig :-) the reflector bracket on the seay has now been modded to take a cateye rack light mount, and a good amount of red retro-reflective added around it. Will have a look at the rack later when (if!) the Smudgling allows me time to fit it :-)

Cycling gloves to replace the homebrew ski mitts which are fine on wintersaurus and the tractor but too floofy for STI's.

    Lord Wiggins' book.

Arguably cycling related: new specs to replace the ones still in the canal.

    The rest was non-bikey.

Super-warm sealskinz cycling gloves for extra extra cold weather. This now guarantees the commuting temperature to be above 5degC for the next 4 months. You're welcome.

Black Walz wool cap - lovely.

I am terrible for buying myself things so my family were invited to, instead of buying me presents, cover some of the cost of
A new pair of mavic wheels for CX racing
Some new sealskinz gloves (same as LizD was describing)
A new set of CX race tyres

My wee bro also got me a Scottish Cyclocross cycling cap which is pretty cool!

Unexpected prezzie of Christmas lurgy :-(
Standing up long enough to change Smudgling's nappy left me out of breath and knackered :-s
Now flat out in bed 'till tomorrow. Hope it goes as fast as it came!

Garmin GPS bike computer from my mother. Strava here I come!

I've been firmly told by Mrs Greenroofer that my Brompton counts as all my birthday and Christmas presents for the foreseeable future :-(
