Having spent the days since Christmas reading 3 diff TdF books, I thought t would be orh a watch. Interesting to see it after-the-fact. I'd watched a fair bit f the coverage, but it made a lot more sense ths time. I'd really only gotten hooked on the day with the tacks, so it was quite interesting to see some for the earlier stages, when I'd t been paying a lt f attention.
The Year in Yellow? I thought that was really interesting. Lots of good moments: Brailsford biting his lip and leaving Sean Yates to shout at Froome for attacking Wiggins; the unbelievable attention to detail in the hotels and in training.
No, thisis a different one. Mostly rehashed from their highlights coverage, but with sme good intro stuff and analysis. Sounds like sky got 'special' access for theirs.
Just finished the guardian TdF book. Was a gift. Hadn't really wanted it. Turned out o be a really good read. Now off to finish 'a race for madmen'.
Just read Tyler Hamilton's book 'The Secret Race'. That helps to explain a lot of these off and on days we see in cycle racing.
Doping isn't past history either. It's merely shifted?
