I thought the colinton road resurfacing didn't start until tomorrow - but temporary lights already up today and some sort of work on. Huge queues in each direction. Heading north/town, the road is wide enough that cycles can skirt the queue, but I'm not sure that will. Be possible heading south. I'd avoid this area entirely if you can - canal should. Ake that possible. Typically, there is no provision for pedestrian crossing, even though one crossing is disabled along the way.

Between Perdrixknowe and North Meggetland, according to this week's CEC road report.

Well they'd struggle to make the surface worse digging it up than it already was! Hopefully the traffic will be queued to a standstill making it safer for everyone else :-)

Thanks are at. I should have explained - forgot that not everyone has been anticipating these repairs as much as me :)

It should fix some of the worst, at least for heading north. Southbound, I suspect that for cyclists, the repairs could ave extended another block further south to be really helpful.
