  1. Alex's race face does, I tihnk, deserve a thread of its own. This from just today at Dig in at the Dock...

My race face in some instances needs explaining.

I had a fairly bad crash when some of the tape marking the course billowed in the wind and caught around my handlebars effectively stopping me very quickly. You can see the landing imprint on my shoulder on the 1-3rd photos.

From there I was chasing down the group I'd been riding with and had a very sore back! Also I think picture 4 I was attempting to not get mud in my face!

On the plus side I overtook all of the group despite losing about 45 seconds in the crash (bent shifters needed rebending) and a few others and came in 33/133 So not a terrible result!

All in all though - great set of photos WC - just looked through them all and some cracking shots.

I took some too. Some great spots for just sitting and firing away and hoping for the best. I seem to have missed ARobComp entirely. Next time I'll know who to look for.

Aye. Bits of Grangemouth and one with Longannet, which I quite like.

Use the share menu at the top and click on bb code, that gives you the image link and the link back to your photostream.

Oh, I've just realised that Nelly was in front of me in the interminable queue for coffee. I've got photos of him too, which I need to process. Tomorrow.

One of Anths photos used in the Velo UK piece. Seems there was a fair amount of talent on the track (not including me)
