CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Ha! Those pesky driving cyclists. Track - "Stop" by Sam Brown.
Well they only went through because they were following you and cyclists always go through red lights.
Too easy - doesn't even require 4 bars, more like a single chord. Much better than the Jamelia version, although unfortunately Sam has had vocal troubles and can't manage a live performance...

What the video doesn't show is that there was a cyclist behind me as well, so the car was behind him. The jump of the red is 'juuuuuust' after it changes, but the amber sequence is long, and I coasted as soon as it turned amber knowing I'd have to stop - the car behind clearly just put the foot to the floor.
That's what an amber light means isn't it? Speed up to make sure you get through?
Worrying as normally when stopping at those lights I like to move into the middle of the red box as I am going right at the next set of lights.
there was a cyclist behind me as well, so the car was behind him.
That explains it then. The old "*&%$£@*! there's TWO *&^%$£@! CYCLISTS in the way, slowing me down, now I've missed the !@£$%^&*! lights! That's it then, I'm not standing for this!"
Vrrrrrrrrrrmmmm! Through they go!
