The bus gates are very clearly marked. Initially warning notes are being issued, rather than fines. Quite reasonable.
The Grassmarket m/c bay appears in the photo as well marked, unobscured, not confusing, has been in place two years. A man has some parking tickets. The EN story spins it out a bit but those are the facts.

@WC, that's astonishing really, months and months later he's still holding a grudge about some of his posts being pulled for cross site posting and harassing other contributors. His style hasn't changed I see, accuse your critics of whatever you're guilty of!
Loved the reply though :-))

As it happens I was round at Asda at the Jewel last night and there are additional bright yellow reflective sigs saying that the bus lane cameras will be in operation from the 3rd December. Certainly that one (in comparison to the bus lanes, where it seems I'm in the minority thinking they're well-signed...) is very very clearly marked.

And @Smudge
I know, it was a surprising response. Clearly you made an impression! I love bullies accusing other people of being bullies as well...

Bus Lane deliberate flouting
Drumbrae South bus lane, cars driving all the way down in the lane, entering the lane from Corstorphine Bank Terrace onwards.
St Johns Road west bus lane, cars entering the lane from well before the bus stop at Guitar Guitar, usually at brisk speed
Both of these are not rare occurences, but extremely frequent.
ps Corstorphine Bank Terrace should be closed off at the Drumbrae end, to close to the roundabout
