Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

The Met Office and BBC forecasts only have the snow coming in after dark. Before then it seems quite nice if cold. I am planning a coast road excursion tomorrow.
We were being "encouraged" to take our laptops home this evening. I came in on my road bike and would have to put my laptop in my rucksack. I'm not cycling for an hour with a laptop on my back.
Scotrail better run their service tomorrow morning... (I'll bike-train-bike, with the Brompton.)

Going to need bigger panniers for all that lot.
Not sure that there's much point in the flask.
"de-icer and scraper"

I have started cycling both ways on Mon then one way each day for the rest fo the week but I think I'll cycle home this evening and just get the bus bothways tomorrow.
There seems to be a rather noticeable absence of blizzard-like conditions forecast on the BBC website at the moment. Slow news day?
)Unless you conside the summary : Wintry showers near East Coast will spread further inland later in the day. Cold and quite windy.
= blizzard)
I think the Chipwrapper have been contacting a different Met Office from the one that the BBC base their forecasts on. Either that or there was something special slipped in the canteen mushroom soup.
Well I heard on the news that supermarkets were running out of bread and milk so we are definitely aw doomed.
