Still no snow here. There was some black ice early yesterday so I used the trike around 0900 hrs but the ice melted once the sun hit it.

Dumfries has flooded, but that's pretty much a monthly occurrence these days...

It used to be part of the river before they decided to narrow it. I guess water doesn't forget...

That must have been a long time ago. I think Devorgilla's bridge is pretty old.
My dad went to school in Dumfriesshire so we used to go there a lot and it was on the way to/from England. His old school is a hotel now, Hetland Hall.

Devorgilla's bridge is ancient - but that didn't stop vandals in the council removing two spans from it so they could have a nice wide road instead. Which now floods regularly...

Ah, I see I do the council a slight injustice, I thought the truncating of the bridge was more recent than that.
