(£7.50 return? Them were the days!)

Now. Quiz of the day. Does anyone recognise where in Morninside above advert was filmed. Or was it indeed Morningside?

Is that Braid Hill peeking out top right? Or is it Corstorphine Hill? Feels like it could be any number of locations in a well-heeled Edinburgh tenement suburb.

I am writing m dissertation about the differences/ rivalry between Edinburgh and Glasgow - would be great if you could help me! I am a student at Edinburgh University studying English Language and for my dissertation I am trying to gather data about accents of people from Edinburgh and Glasgow by filling in a short online survey.

I am looking for people from Edinburgh to fill it out. If you would be kind enough to help me follow the link below:

    Many thanks,

@bikefan / crowriver - ah, fabulously well remembered / discovered! Now, strictly speaking is that Morningside? I'd say she's on the Merchiston side of Colinton Road ;)
