It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Is anyone else finding metcheck glitchy? I've not been able to get 'today' forecasts (screen is just empty), and while I can get 7 days, they bear no resemblence to actual weather, or that predicted by BBC - eg 7-9C daytime temps versus 18-21C on BBC.
(am posting this here - possibly off topic -- since it was a post on here who first alerted me to metcheck's existence, and have found it really good ever since)

personally I use metoffice.gov.uk for my weather checks
Metcheck (used to) gives a very good quick graphic analysis.
