Compulsory clothing colour

    Calls to make Lemon forcées à la mode here after policeman killed. (He was actually wearing clothing with retroreflective strips, and had lights on his bike, and was riding on 50kph dual carriageway).

    ...oh and compulsory cycle lane usage. Is on my old Wellington commute route and REALLY shouldn't have happened, case of truck driver leaving no margin for the cyclist whatsoever.

    Sigh.

    Only the CCE forum has reports from around the world! Thanks Stepdoh - interesting to see the arguments taking place there.

    After reading Josie Dews Long Cloud Ride book about cycling in NZ I did get the impression that it could be quite risky road cycling there.
