  2. I should be there - will be weird not having to run off to work...

I'll be there, with the intention of trundling round the POP route with my camera afterwards, and thence feeding my new Strava addiction.

    Um

Trundling and Strava don't work in same sentence...

Carrying a camera and Strava doesn't fit either, but as we all know, in Chinese calligraphy the symbol for 'camera' is a combination of the glyphs for 'eye' and 'excuse for placing low in online cycling performance comparision applications.'

Am I the only one who has work to do on Friday!

I'll come along for a bit, depending on the weather I might bring the RB and try my portraits again. (with the film loaded correctly...)

Is there a calligraphy sign for carrying a technologically redundant 2.5kg camera just for a giggle...

I'll be there. Hopefully with some snazzy new shoes.

I'll take my Folding Pocket Kodak 3A for a giggle. It's a beautiful bit of kit - not yet converted a 120 spool for it though, so won't be taking any photos...

Good Friday not a movable feast day for the council, we are all off. Same with Easter Monday but the May Day Monday floats as does Victoria Day. I will be off May Day due to my increasingly mild left wing politics but will most def be at work on Victoria day

Have you got a 120 spool? I've got one kicking around.

Alas, have just packed the Chameleon, and I'm off for a week riding round the challenging environment of the Norfolk Broads.

    Enjoy - and happy Easter

    Good morning,

Just a quick note to let you know I won't be able to make it tomorrow (today). I'm still at work (0100) and won't be able to rouse myself from my slumber in time to make it for coffee.

I am hoping to continue in some capacity in the new Scottish Force, and will definitely still be lurking around here, 'helping out, when I can. So i will take a rain check and get to one of the get togethers soon.

    Regards,

    Paul.

Well, if you're not busy on May 19th, I've got a blue tabard for you...

    Catch you later, though.

As it happens, I'm off on the 19th May. I assume this is to do with POP. PM me, and I would be more than happy to assist.

    Regards,

    Paul.

Does anyone else think the thread title sounds like some sort of placard-wielding protest?

    "WHAT DO WE WANT?"

    "CINNAMON BUNS!"

    "WHEN DO WE WANT THEM...?"

Nice to meet so many CCE'rs this morning. Good to be able to put faces to names.
If anybody heading along innocent watch out for broken glass in the chicane at Dud rd west and also opp the basketball court at Bingham. Wasn't there on way up this morning. I punctured along there last night. Obviously the innocent trapper is feeling frisky again!

Sunny when we left! soaked up a little vitamin D

Nice to see all the usual suspects and meet the new-comers.

Jim Orr was there and mentioned that he and Keith Brown are off to Amsterdam to inspect infrastructure (that probably deserves its own thread...)

Turned into a bright and crisp morning after the initial showers. It was great to meet those of you who were about when I was - I'll know a few faces to look out for come PoP this year. I'm really glad I plucked up the courage to come along!

"I'm really glad I plucked up the courage to come along!"

    'Us' too.

I am conscious that there is an element of 'usual suspects'

But there were at least three 'new PYers' today.

Really ALL welcome (all ages too).

    Next month? -

Nice to put a face to the name, MeepMeep. If it was a working day I would've been about an hour earlier, but I was too busy sleeping!
