I have complained before about lack of bike parking near the sylvan place entrance. But am I wrong to assume that there must be some usable racks near the main entrance on Sciennes Rd?

Bike parking at sick kids

There are racks and railings at the entrance facing Meadows. Don't know what road is called.

Rack (covered) to the left of the main entrance quite usable. Think there might be one at the opposite corner too.

Thanks all. Two covered racks. One wingpig mentions to left of entrance and one with Sheffield racks to left of front door (if facing door). Neither very full, which is convenient if disappointing. Perhaps there are staff racks elsewhere.

Staff Racks!!?? I recall someone saying that the staff all drive in apparently and park on Sciennes Road?

There are small outbreaks of cycle parking all over the Western General, too. Last time I was there I rode the road right round the perimeter, and tried to make mental notes about where OCM needed updating. Even if it's just one or two Sheffield stands here and there, it all counts towards useability.

Last time I was at the western there were loads of racks and they were basically full, this was a weekday in July several years ago mind.
