Canal festival

    Anyone else going to the canal festival? I think we're going to be in the 'wee boats' flotilla - taking a canoe from the Tollcross Community Education project down to Harrison Park and back. If anyone else wants to help paddle/row (they seem to have a range of boats) PM me, and I'll give you the contacts; they seem to be looking for extra people. The Canoe Club and others are also participating. And if you have your own boat, I think you can just join in.

    The Harrison Playgroup Summer Fayre is also on on Saturday, not far from the canal at Harrison Park East, Merchiston Club on Watson Cres - many activities for the family, dancing workshops, bouncy castles, kite making, drown me with a wet sponge (when I am not making kites) cafe etc etc etc 1.30 - 4.30
    Why not pop down off the canal if you get time?

    I'll be heading over to the canal with the girls looks like a blast.Also saw the posters in harrison park for the playgroup fayre . Might pop into that as well.
