New deli and cafe in juni green

    Woods Deli next to the iCeland shop. Opens 7am, window corner pew to let you watch your bike or the hoops left for tying horses reins will take a longer cable lock. Bit pricey for espresso but made it lungo for me this am for no extra. Good range of loaves, vegetables, scones. Porridge pots went down well with cyclists at weekend apparently.

    Any sighthill/gyle/bank headers who fancy working for their breakfast might be tempted as alt to PY?

    Involves just a wee blast up Lanark Road before work for me so could be tempted... How good are the pastries?

    Yes what with the the tearoom and the deli and the Italian restaurant and the Pentland fry juni green is the culinary capital of south west Edinburgh beyond the bypass
