No, not that it happened, there are immature and dangerous ****wits in cars all over the planet, words fail me that commenters on a cycling forum wouldtry to justify driving a car into a motorcycle, clearly motorcyclists are an "out group" to them (stomps of in helpless fury)

"The driver also showed good skill by tapping the bike and it not falling over."
What?!??! Just.... WHAT?!?!??

I would say more but I am actually genuinely angered by this for some reason. I know it shouldn't bother me, but....

Incredible. There is absolutely no justification for that swerve. It wouldn't matter if the moto rider had slapped the team car driver's mother in the face - any action should have waited till they were both on foot, not with one driving a tonne of deadly metal.
Regardless of that fool of a commenter's ridiculous opinion that the driver used "skill" to "nudge" the bike, he could have no idea whether the bike would fall over or not. Even then, from that video we can't actually assume the bike did stay upright since the camera is then pointing to the ground. Hope they expel the driver and he is charged.
Generally, I find bikers to be an almost negligible problem to safe cycling - they usually pass further away than cars etc - and my only issue is with those bikers who think it's ok to use the ASL box. They don't exactly need the extra space for a speedy getaway, unlike a cyclist. But that's another issue...

This looks like normal behaviour to me. If that had been a cyclist then loads of people on here would have jumped in to blame them. They were in the way, they weren't in the way enough, they should have anticipated that the driver was about to use his car as a weapon and prevented it happening. Etc etc.
And yes it annoys me too.
And I doubt that driver will face any consequences, even with the video evidence.

Well it's just I've found that in general, in reports about cyclists being hit by cars, with no details whatsoever, folk around here are more likely to launch into recriminations about the driver...
I've certainly seen on a lot of fora that people will comment along the lines of ,"ooh, you should have been in primary," ut I'm not sure it's that prevalent here that it can be claimed people 'blame' the cyclist?
