Whilst playing the dream-spec-bike game, I had a google round to see what the leading dynamo light seems to be at the moment. Whilst I've always liked the Supernova on the Fuego, I really don't like their tailight, and apparently you can't just lob in another companies alternative due to 'electrical stuff'.

B&M latest offering looks lovely, though. Aside from the obvious stuff, there's: a remote handlebar switch that includes a USB charging port; an automatic and gradual switch between uber main beam and close-ranged floods as you slow down; automatic daytime running lights; clip on reflector; indicator light that shows if your rear light is still working (an utterly irrational fear of mine).

    Shiny.

Hasn't there been a long wait for these as they have not been shipped from B&M due to some problem with design/shipping? I have seen a few long threads about people ordering these when they came out but been waiting months for them to actually ship?

I was thinking about that light this morning as I was dreaming about what improvements I'd need like to make to the touring bike before the summer hols.

@DaveC - seems to be the case, although the impression I got was that they were about to start coming through.

Makes no odds to me as the dream bike it would attach to hasn't yet been purchased, so I can happily wait whilst supply problems are dealt with :D

More than six months ago, ahead of the release date, I pestered B&M for a review copy of this light. They were nice but not interested - I wonder if they knew there were going to be production issues and didn't want to exacerbate it with high demand...
