Reporting defective traffic lights

I'd like to report some traffic lights that didn't respond to the presence of a cyclist (me). The problem is that I don't know what local authority the lights belong to... any suggestions how I might go about finding this out?

They are on the A85 east of the Ben Cruachan power station... Is that even local authority territory, or some other body?

The A85 is a trunk road at that point, maintenance is the responsibility of BEAR Scotland (since 1 April 2013, when they replaced Scotland TranServ). I can't seem to find contact details for their North West unit though.

Thank you Morningsider. I thought it might be something other than the local authority.

Doesn't FixMyStreet automatically punt reports on to the appropriate authority to save you the bother of identifying them?

BEAR have grudgingly provided online forms for reporting issues and defects for their adopted NE and SE trunk roads

    http://roadworks.bearscot.com/#defect-form-panel

but in my experience they never reply to submissions made via this form, and haven't acted upon the issues, either.

I'm fairly sure nothing will be done, I just wanted to report it. Its The Principle Of The Thing, see?

Oh, and I never even thought of FixMyStreet...
