    That is tragic. Equally sadly it's not surprising that it happened at a junction and with a tipper truck.

    Like you say, sadly not surprising
    "According to London Cycling Campaign, lorries account for 5 per cent of the city’s traffic, but are involved in half of incidents that result in a cyclist being killed."

    If deaths in this number and frequency took place anywhere but on the roads there'd be national outrage and an outright ban on the source of the problem... :(
