Cyclists are entitled to road space as much as cars, vans, goods vehicles or indeed any other vehicle on the road. This commercial aims to educate drivers on sharing the roads safely with cyclists, and motorists' responsibility to cyclists as vulnerable road users.

I like the tone of that, it doesn't sound preachy or aggressively assert cyclists rights, it just lays it out as easy facts.

Still kinda comes under the "I'm amazed you have tell drivers that" category though.

That should be a UK-wide* campaign on TV and in cinemas as well as compulsory viewing for all current or prospective drivers (and cyclists would benefit from a viewing too). It's not sensationalist and it doesn't try to say anyone is right or wrong, simply showing how it should be.

(*I'm aware this is an ROI video by the way).

This is excellent. Not preachy or patronising. Definitely would like to see a UK equivalent.

As someone who often rides in a group I liked the "may ride 2 abreast" which might reduce occurences of "BEEEPPP!!! GET OVER! WHY AREN'T YOU RIDING IN A SINGLE LINE IN THE GUTTER (and therefore making things more dangerous by doubling the length of my overtake except I'm too flippin' thick to work that out)?"
