CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Wow. That'll go a long way.
The £154,000 plan involves lowering kerbs, upgrading pavements, increased outdoor access and filling in some of the "missing links" in Dundee's cycle paths.
The Docks perchance?
I hope they remove some silly chicanes too...
Crowriver - can you do any Dundee postering/leafleting for Pop?
@SRD, I'll be happy to do so, as I did last year.
"What we want to do is to remove the real or perceived barriers to engaging in these healthy pursuits by making it as safe as possible to do them in Dundee"
What would make walking and cycling "as safe as possible" is spending several million pounds every year to bring about a transformation of every street in the city. I am offended that a feeble effort to install a few dropped kerbs even makes the news. Enjoy your crumbs, Dundee cyclists.
Dundee has effectively banished through motor-traffic from the city center in a way that would have Edinburgh motorists apoplectic with self-righteous fury.
They have enormous multilane roads with which they can race round the edge of it as fast as possible instead though.
True, but better that than racing as fast as possible through the center of town - as seems to be the case on the four-lane rubbish-strewn race track that serves Aberdeen as a main street.
Enjoy your crumbs, Dundee cyclists.
Bit early for crumbs, surely? They've only said they're considering the plan. :-(
