Usual reminder - lots of baby, kids etc stuff at Polwarth Nearly New sale on the 27th, from 11-1, but also lots of used kids bikes, bike seats, sometimes trailers & tagalongs. plus (rather good) homebaking.

Arrived at 10:57 with coxswean. Found an amazing queue stretching (so it seemed) all the way to Slateford Road, but the queue disappeared very effectively at opening time. Inspected a fine range of bicycles, and very nearly bought a well-used trailer but decided Mrs Greenroofer might not approve. Couldn't quite find what I was looking for, so said hello to Mr SRD and then came home.
A local institution, made particularly pleasant by the fine sunny day.

No problem :-) I'm still a newbie on here so there will be things I'm unaware of which others will have known about for years. I'm more often skirting round Polwarth than through it so something like this would likely pass me by (or vice versa!).
