That'll be because cyclists cut through past St Marys and then left and right to Melville Street.

But the traffic light timing means that is perfectly safe, so it must be someone going further east.
And that would be scary.

Yep, see this all the time, saw one quite amusing instance which I posted on the bad cycling thread a wee while ago.
