@tulyar, ah, these John Lewis ones far flimsier than that then. When taking them apart for the guy who took them, I recalled my father in law had fashioned metal poles to hold the beds on top of each other as the original dowels had probably cracked.
So they survived one branch of the family and transferred to another and at one point were single beds which involved swapping a headboard and at footboard which I fear input on the wrong way round. Then survived being put back as bunk beds.
I spent some time dismNtlinfg them for the guy who was coming that day with his van had to be that day. For some reason. Then he arrived with a mini. So my wife spent longer dismantling the lighthouse brick by brick (dad's army punchline from Fraser) . Dismantling the bunk ends slat by slat to fit in a mini. Normal new mini not bigger versions. He came back later that night and I helped him stuff two mattresses into a mini. Chest of drawers would never fit. Either his mini or the room he was refurbishing. Might burn them this winter.

Free to a good home - amazing it took me so long to discover really. I've been carry one of these as my spare in my mini pannier thing for +4 years.
Turns out this one, plus the other two are all Schrader.
A testament to Marathon Pluses that I notice before i needed it.

For sale: a Basil “Memories” front carrier. Instantly Dutchify your bike.
Shelf style front carrier with high back. Good for fixing a wine crate or plastic crate to, or maybe a wicker basket. Black steel tubing, top hooks over the handlebars, support struts fix onto a solid front axle: not recommended for QR axles but would probably work.
This was on the front of my Ute, and is now surplus to requirements. Carrier has been modified by adding two pieces of aluminium profile so it would fit on to the riser north road bars, which were a different height from a typical continental bike. These can be removed if not required. Height is fully adjustable using the bolts: the profile just adds extra flexibility of adjustment for different heights of head tube or bars.
Decent condition: a few minor signs of surface rust here and there but not noticeable. See photos below.
These are £25 to £30 new. This has had light use, looking for £10. Collect from Leith Walk area. PM me if interested.

A pair of Thule 510 bike carriers (pretty much this - http://www.roofrackspareparts.co.uk/bike-roof-mount-parts/thule-tour-bike-carrier-510 )
Well used but plenty of life left in them. A couple of the parts marked as #31468 could maybe use replacing but they did survive a jaunt up and down the m6 the other day. I have all the keys for the locks.And most of the roof rack too (sorry, I kept the feet for my new one)

Salsa Bell Lap Cyclo-cross bars - taken off a new Canondale tourer in about 2008, never used since! 46cm wide (though they flare out to something like 50: £20
The drops that came with my Surly. Turns out they were too wide for my shoulders so swapped out and now need rehomed. 44cm, make is, erm, whatever they were putting on the 2015 Disc Trucker: £20

Free pair of Vibram Five Fingers for someone with size 42 feet. Would probably do for a size 41 too depending how your toes are arranged. Just a hair too small for me now (and always very snug, so never did get much wear). Non-waterproof, very light. If your friends are like mine, they'll laugh at them. (Heathens.) Sorry, I can't provide any new friends.

No, sadly I was mis-sold. I thought they were a wee bit snug, man in shop swore up and down they were meant to fit like that and once I'd worn them a few days I'd get used to it. I might have returned them but I bought them in Edinburgh and I lived in Orkney at the time... (They fit OK without socks?)

Long shot but...
I'm in the market for either a new BB or a more modern chainset. Dud BB is an Octalink v1, BSA thread, 68mm shell and 109mm width (its for a 105 5500 series chainset). Anyone have one knocking about?
Alternatively, anyone have a double Sora or Tiagra chainset lying around that they'd part with?
