Best Pop ever for The Crusher a party. All single occupant SUVs are now banned from the streets of Central Edinburgh

Sadly couldn't make as clashed with a previous commitment - said commitment necessitated me driving a van from Lochrin Place.

Delighted to see the feeder ride from Harrison Park at the King's Theatre junction. I know some drivers may have been "inconvenienced" however I arrived as lights just went against me and the ride started to go through..... when my lights next went green you were all through and clear of the main road.

Don't know your official numbers for that ride but I'd estimate at least a hundred bikes - a hundred bikes in such a short space of time? No way motorised transpaort could match that in terms of moving people unless a couple of full buses..... :-)

Hope everybody had a great day and got home safely.

Some great shots from Andy. Not sure I can name everyone but great to see the gang back in town. @SRD, @laidback, @CHDot, @kaputnik, @Iwrats, @Hankchief, @Biketrain, @Neddie, @chrisfl, @malkie(he lurks)@steveo, @morningsider, @The Hinch Herself, @big Alexrobcomp. I said keep playing the music until he tells us to switch it off, maybe even @neddie tweed cap in photo anyway. @urchaidh raised an eyebrow.

Then the Crusher Party Gang from non CCE

Then loads of folk I only ever see at POP. All friendly
Paddy Harvey was the only politician who could Project to the cheap seats at the back. Good for him. Wind messed up the PA alas. Polis in good form.

Great to see so many people out there. Hugely appreciate those who attended and got involved in Marshalling, Feeder riding, and of course just general attendance.

    Thanks for overseeing the organising/event.

    Fix a 2023 date ASAP!

Route wasn’t as bad as I feared.

But a Meadows start definitely preferably.

@gembo - there was @Greenroofer + a microGreenroofer, nearer the front than you and close to @Dave. I (rightly) predicted that people wearing Barbours and brogues would be under-represented at the event, so I came on a green Elephant Bike dressed as a Tory (for reasons that aren't entirely clear to me).

In the picture above of the Chief Marshal on the HP Feeder Ride holding up traffic you can see my front wheel intruding on the left of the picture.

@greenroofer, phew, I did say to Iwrats is that Lord Greenroofer over there dressed as a tory but he was too busy adjusting his fez to reply.

@gembo, I wouldn't normally object to failing to be spotted. But as I am in Andy Caitlin's photos and I sat on the wall in front of your group for a few minutes prior to the speeches...

    @acsimpson I do apologise

Missed it due to it clashing with the Loch Ness Etape. Maybe next year I'll finally make it?

@gembo, I had a helmet on some of the time which I guess means I was dressed like certain tories. Although perhaps as I was outside that means I wasn't.

Indeed, as no one has yet bought it from me I was riding a Helios.
