"Five Ways" isn't the junction near to Craigleith retail park, though, is it? It is much, much futher towards Leith.

gembo, that is the right 5 ways. If you have never taken the route north to the shore the I suggest a quick exploration. It's not a long path and shortly after leaving 5 ways it heads into the Trinity Tunnel.
fimm, Five ways is indeed closer to Leith. It is this junction:

It's the junction between Chancealot, Goldenacre, Trinity, Ferry Road and Hawthorvale paths. (Although I'll confess to not having known all those names before)Posted 5 years ago # -
When I was a boy we used to play on the abandoned railways around 5-ways, and the abutments for the east-west bridge were still there although the bridge was long gone at that point. Great fun for climbing. It was overgrown to the point of being impenetrable and you certainly had to watch out for dubious characters roaming around.

Fuerzabruta was in a tent opposite Ocean Ternimal, though that was possibly Fringe rather than EIF. Faust was in one of the exhibition halls at the Ingliston RHC, which was non-central but less convenient to get to, though at least I still lived in the city centre and only needed one bus.
