Driver in fancy blue BMW perhaps, last three reg letters OLM.

On his phone at Davidsons Mains roundabout this evening as I was going round,I signalled him to stop phoning whilst driving. He parked just beyond outside Greggs, he immediately launched into a practised tirade that I, as a cyclist had no right to complain about him !! as I didn't pay any road tax, insurance, etc. Hardly got word in !

Yeah saw an idiot in a 4x4 cruising downhill through a pedestrian crossing on Leith Walk this aft with right arm entirely engaged in clamping phone to his ear.

Its illegal, but the penalty is rubbish - 3 points and a £60 fine.

Seems rather light given the life changing damage a texting driver can do to a cyclist / pedestrian?
