Suppose it balances the call for lifting of drink/drive restraints.

"Nick Clegg has asked the public for their suggestions on which laws should be removed or changed because they restrict civil liberties."

"[Requests from cyclists] include VAT exemption for bicycles and raising the speed limit on electric bicycles."

Those are hardly civil liberty restricting.
(although I predict people asking for the general speed limit to be raised on those grounds).

Some of the request are hilarious, there is one to repeal the Road Fund Licence. The funny thing is that it was repealed in 1936, it is just that many people don't even know that we all pay for the roads, not just drivers.

What is really clear and also very sad, is that there is such a poor understanding of the nature of civil society and the concept of individual responsibility.

Useful for what? Stealing music, films and software?

useful getting it quickly, point me to ANY tv station that lets me pay to watch a back catalogue of a series
music is easy lots of sites give it now, and you can buy mp3 downloads of a specific track you like and save buying the whole album or there are sites like grooveshark where you can pick any tune to listen to again and again on the internet and not need to buy the track (as the site pays 0.08p per listen or something from ad revenue)
have you ever recorded anything from tv? ever?

get the ISPs to pay the licensing fees, since they don't provide the "up to" top speed they say
