It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

For those who don't recognize it, it's one of the Gilmore Place pinchpoints.
No sign of any 'road occupation permitted' signs. And big front yard/carpark they could have put it in.
Good news: Southwest team says it's not authorised and they're sending someone over to move it...

I was wondering if there was someone you could complain to about the obstruction (I assume it can't have a parking ticket because it is not a car...)
I presume they don't want it in the front yard, because then they'd have to find somewhere to put all the white vans :(

Of course, the realist in me reckons that it doesn't matter, because the tarmac is so cratered anyway that you can't but go slow. But the road is deceptively narrow after the line of shops.

I would've thought that ISO18001 was also relevant to a waste and recycling company. Doesn't that include a duty to avoid potential harm to people?
