    Sadly not mine, but quite impressed by this. A Fuji Bikes Pro 8 from ChainReaction - the deal was just too damned good. Almost 50% off as it's last year's model, and Mel's dad has a new bike for his birthday. Just hope if fits...

    Lighter than the slick tyred MTBs he'd been using (which he asked me to sell), and the single chainring should help - he has a habit of mashing on the big ring, then changing down only when things get really really hard and drops the chain off. Did it on all three bikes I knew him to have.

    Anyway, the geometric tubes will be hit or miss with both, but seems really nicely built. And was only ordered on Friday...

    AND a kickstand. AND rack mounts. It really is a rather nice package.

    Oh, I know someone who has shiney mudguards like that, they look great!!

    Aye, space for a rack. And the guards are absolutely fab - keeping them shiny might be more of a chore.

    It should get its first outing on Saturday.
