Do you do it in a Leisure Centre?

Apparently "spinning" is a new activity for the driving classes.

There's somewhere in Edinburgh, opened recently(?)

    Said to get you fit...

Are spinning classes not pretty much a standard offering at leisure centres these days?

Could there be another benefit to getting fit?

In the words of US Congressman Earl Blumenauer, "Let's have a minute's silence for all those people who are sitting in traffic on the way to the gym to ride a stationary bicycle". ;-)

I Cycle the roads everyday but believe spinning has its place.

The Cycle Speedway team have found it just about the best pre-season activity so far. During the weather where you cant get on track and the disparity in finess levels making road work extremely difficult to organise its been great.

LifeCycle also have Watt Bikes so if you want to see what your Watt output is compared to Chris Hoy then have a go.

"What, if anything, most irritates you about other cyclists?"

This is one of the top topics. What does this tell us?!

Spinning might end up going into the irritant zone - although TommyL has explained its attraction pretty well;-)
