    Yes, this is a depressing article, 33% will drive regardless of any argument. What happens once you turn 17? My kids just now have been taught at school that everyone driving a car is heating up the earth, once you are 17 and can get a licence this does not apply to you, only everyone else? Buying a car could be construed as the single most selfish thing an individual can do? Handy tho.

    Reminds me of the congestion charge referendum trouncing in edinburgh or everyone in Athens having two numberplates so they can drive every day. Where is Prof David Begg when we need him, he knew what was what....

    Gotta love how all of the solutions involve cars. Slightly different cars, electric, a bit smaller etc. But cars nonetheless.
