I have two issues here. 1. it's not cycle friendly employers that we need from sustrans, it's better routes. and 2. why the bleepity-bleep are they running another bleeping petition?
Surely all our petition attention ought to be concentrated on the APPG report petition?

I agree though, its all about feeling safer when commuting, not about facilities at work. Though I am lucky in that we have secure cycle parking and three showers now, up 1 over last year, plus loads of lockers to leave our clothes in. I imagine if I had to leave my bike on the street, and have to strip wash I'd think twice about commuting. Wasn't Edinburgh suppossed to get some Bike Hub like Manchester soon?
Sustrans is a puppet of Government, it is not independent agent, it is not going to do what things which the body which gives it 90% of its funding doesn’t want it to do.
This is why Sustrans says that there isn't space to put a separated cycle lane on Leith Walk! Sustrans is capable of building almost continental quality infra, but only when allowed to do so.
