It wasn't all that long ago where blokes rode either a Brooks B17 or a Selle Italia Turbo, and women rode a Terry. Now it's almost impossible to know what saddle works because there are so many designs for every possible posterior. WSD frames have been a long time coming, and seem to be increasingly a standard design consideration now.

I would still like to see cycle clothing - particularly shorts - use a less fashioncentric sizing system. Size 14 being marketed as XL? Make us feel good, why don't you? It's both demeaning and tending towards discriminatory for anyone larger than that who might actually find it difficult to buy something that's comfortable to cycle in. I shall reserve comment on the pretend-chamois inserts.

Despite the opening up of the female cyclist market, we still have the problem in some bike shops of their staff not crediting women with a brain. Doesn't matter how many saddles with holes you have on display, you'll still lose business.
